Given the popularity of portable multimedia players in general and of the iPod in particular, it's no wonder that more and more manufacturers of various audio accessories come up with specific products targeting this segment, which is likely to grow in the future. And the latest company to join this “flood” is Tweaked Audio, a subsidiary of WolfKing, a well-known manufacturer of gaming accessories and peripherals.
Tweaked Audio has just rolled out three new earphone series, all of which are designed to meet the needs and demands of specific categories of users. However, the differences between these three lines are not exactly that fantastic, since we're only talking about design-related issues, mostly.
So, the basic Tweaked earphones feature an aluminum housing and are available in no less than four color variants: Blue, Green, Red and Pink. The Tweaked Classic ones, on the other hand, sport a metallic aluminum alloy and are available in Silver and Black versions. Finally, the Tweaked Natural earphones are only available in a Rosewood/Aluminum combo, which, however, will most likely appeal to all the “green” aficionados out there.

Anyway, moving on from the design, the truth of the matter is that the three earphone lineups are pretty much identical as far as their specs are concerned. Hence, they all have a 10-mm speaker that supports a frequency range of 20Hz-20KHz, an 32+/-3 Ohms impedance, 102+/-3dB sensitivity and a maximum input power of 10mW. Plus, they all have a 1.2-meter cable and a 3.5-mm gold-plated jack. As far as the pricing is concerned, the basic Tweaked set sells for around $29.95, while the Tweaked Classic earphones are a little bit more expensive, selling for around $34.95. Finally, the Tweaked Natural series is the most expensive of the three, retailing for an estimate $49.95.
