Urban Tool is a new age label based in Vienna, focusing on a fresh market based on the blending of fashion, sports and mobile technology. Combining functionality and cool design, the Urban Tool products hold your personal items securely and comfortably in everyday life. Plus, they make you look good while at it, as they successfully combine sportswear functionality with sophistication and style.
The Austrian company was present at this year's CeBIT event to showcase some of its
latest additions to its portfolio, namely the “urban performer unit,” “hipHolster” and “caseBelt,” but, despite the financial crisis, it decided to leave those items behind, at least for a while and came up with a new series of made-for-iPod sports accessories, namely the sportStrap, crossHolster, sportHolster and advancedShirt. But let's take them one at a time, shall we?
The sportStrap is responsible for creating maximum mobility. Thus, it is perfect for all those who want to be active. With its adjustable hook and loop fastener, the sportStrap can easily be attached to your upper arm and offers a big, elastic storage space for gadgets like your mobile phone or mp3 player and an extra pocket for keys and money. The neoprene material used provides an optimal wearing comfort and adjusts to your body just like a second skin, at least according to the manufacturer.
The crossHolster is ideal for both sports and urban areas, thanks to its multi-purpose features. With its eight pockets, the crossHolster offers enough space for all digital companions and clings easily and stylishly to our hips, which is guaranteed by the ergonomic cut, the infinitely adjustable hip belt and the usage of the familiar light materials.
The sportHolster is worn around the shoulders and offers hardly noticeable space for mobile phone, iPod, etc. An own pocket with a key-yo yo and a handy cable routing for headphones complete the sportHolster to a highly functional sports tool.
The advancedShirt is a functional sports-shirt, which can safely store iPod or mobile phone in an own pocket and the headphone-cable can be fixed via a smart cable routing. The ergonomic cut, reflectors and the wetness-regulating material turn the „advancedShirt“ into a perfect workout partner.
These items retail for prices ranging from 25 to 60 Euro. For more details, you should contact the manufacturer directly.
