Here is something that I haven't written about in a few days and, to tell you the truth... was looking forward to another few days without having to write about another such device. Yes, I know that the cheerful tone gave it away: I have a new netbook to introduce to you. But not just any netbook, my friends: one that comes with the same specifications like all the other netbooks on the market (wait... that is exactly “
just any netbook”) but (Ok, maybe I was wrong) comes with a six-cell battery that allows for up to six hours of computing (Ok, I wasn't).
Specifications page incoming, prepare your tomatoes and rotten apples because, trust me, my friends, you ain't gonna like it! The netbook has a 10-inch 1024x600 pixel display, an Intel Atom N270 processor (yep, not even dual-core, can you believe it?), 1GB of internal memory (I'd bet my salary we're talking DDR2), as well as a three-in-one card reader and a hard drive sizing... yes... come on... say it: 160GB. Now that we have the boring details out of the way... let us head towards a head-on collision with... new boring details.
Well, the device seems to also come with built-in 802.11 b/g wireless connectivity, a VGA output port, three USB ports and a two-button touchpad but the creme de la creme, the cherry on top, the coup de grace... is the six-cell battery. Too little? Definitely? Too less? Just a matter of semantics. The MSRP is set at 399USD.
