First to be mentioned, the S1-1042 is a Roof Prism Binocular that packs a vast range of features,
including 10x magnification and 42mm lens diameter.
This particular model is the company's first binocular built with Vivitar patented Series 1 lens technology, complete with dry nitrogen filling. The binocular is waterproof and fog-proof, as well as being built with the new open bridge design for added comfort and ease of use. Available at a suggested retail price of $249.
Next on the line-up, the Vivitar TEL-76700, the company's first astronomical telescope to embed Reflector-based architecture and technology, is built with one of the finest grade materials, among which Vivitar's own coating, lenses and mirror. The telescope ships with a deluxe Equatorial mount,
providing superior functionality and precision. Being built with the young budding to novice stargazer in mind, the TEL-76700 is light enough to be portable, without lacking power, and available for $149.99.
