Right now, most people have at least one computer at home, with more and more adding a netbook or another portable computing system to their PC “armada.” However, managing all of the files stored onto all of these devices is not such an easy task, and for this reason, CyberPower has launched the Windows Home Server 100, a device that will surely streamline the level of file interaction within a certain network.

Hence, what we're talking about here is a small form factor home-based server that allows users to easily access their files, photos, videos and music in their home or remotely. The system can automatically complete the daily backup of one's computers on a home network, which allows users to restore a single file or an entire PC.

Since this thing is targeted mostly at home networks, its hardware specs are not exactly enterprise-grade. Hence, it's built around the ATOM 330 Dual-Core CPU (45nm, FSB 533MHz, 1.6GHz, 1 MB L2), accompanied by the Intel Mini-ITX mainboard with Intel GMA 950 & S-video output support, 10/100/1000Mbps Gigabit Ethernet, ALC662 High Definition Audio, a 500GB SATA-II hard drive, 2GBs of PC2-4200 DDR2-533 memory and Microsoft Windows 2003 Server OEM version.

As briefly mentioned above, one of the most interesting features of the Windows Home Server 100 is the fact that it allows users to access their files from wherever they might be. Hence, the server from CyberPower comes equipped with a secure and personalized website address, which allows users to organize all of their files in a central location.

Price-wise, the CyberPower Windows Home Server 100 is actually a pretty affordable product, since it sells starting somewhere at around 400 US dollars. Not very bad, given its features, is it, now?
