Let me tell you right from the start that the new BodyGuardz Dry Apply is the water-free solution from NLU Products, which makes them a lot more interesting than their previous protection films. I mean, it does save you from the tedious and sticky process of applying the films, not to mention the 48-hour waiting period during which you cannot use your device. Plus, these new films for the iPhone 4 are built from the same material used by the company to protect the fronts of cars from abrasive elements.

“While the current application of BodyGuardz is completely safe to use on gadgets, we recognized that many customers would like a solution that doesn’t use water on their new Apple iPhone 4 or other electronics,” said Kirk Feller, president and CEO of NLU Products. “Keeping in mind our customers’ preferences, we created BodyGuardz Dry Apply for people who want unmatched full-body device protection without the use of a liquid.”

While I will believe the fact that these films are made out of an indestructible material only after Superman confirms it, there are people out there who would most likely prefer this elegant solution for protecting their latest Apple smartphone instead of the bulky cases. The BodyGuards Dry Apply does offer full-body protection for the handset, making it seem pretty versatile when compared with most models of cases out there.

These films are also UV resistant, will not interfere with the screen's visibility and will save you from a lot of possible problems thanks to fancy “nano-scratch resistance” technologies. The adhesive the BodyGuards Dry Apply uses is chemically treated so that it won't corrode through your gadget and also prevents microbes from gathering between the film and the gimmick. On the official website, these new protective solutions are available for pre-ordering for $24.95.
