Not that much time has passed since Nvidia released it's GeForce GT 430 graphics processor and Zotac couldn't miss from the launch party, the Chinese company adding three new graphics cards to the already overwhelming swore of GT 430 based graphics cards.
Although when it comes down to their hardware specifications there really isn't much to differentiate the trio, each one of these offerings comes with its own cooling solution, the GeForce GT 430 Zone Edition being the most impressive of the bunch since it features a passive cooling enabling true silent operation.
The two remaining graphics cards however, use a more traditional approach when it comes to cooling, the GeForce GT 430 LP being a low profile offering, making it a really nice alternative for a HTPC setup, while the vanilla Zotac GeForce GT 430 comes as a full height offering, but uses a single slot cooler.
Of the three, this is the only one that comes with Nvidia's stock clocks, the other two offerings being outfitted with slower 1600MHz DDR3 memory (compared to the reference 1800MHz memory), although they all come with a 700 MHz core, 96 CUDA units and a 128-bit memory bus.
“Our Zotac GeForce GT 430 series graphics cards are the ultimate companion for high-definition capable
home theater PCs.
By combining world-class Blu-ray 3D playback capabilities with crystal clear audio, the Zotac GeForce GT 430 series delivers an unrivaled high-definition audio and visual experience,” said Carsten Berger, marketing director,
Zotac International.
Both the GeForce GT 430 and the LP version will be available at $79.99, while the passively cooled Zone Edition will be priced a bit higher, coming in at $84.99.
