Now, here's an interesting device that I can make a little fun of. To tell you the truth, I don't remember seeing this mixture of features, namely a solar portable charger with built-in flash memory. Gimmicks and gadgeteers, meet the ZyRUS Sun Drive multiple mobile charger. With this, you will get a high technology convergence product of mobile solar charging, USB mobile charging, auxiliary battery and a USB flash drive.

Come to think about it, this would be the first USB flash drive that I would be buying, if I could only find one closer. Finally, a small device that has more than one feature, and none of them is useless. Imagine always having this with you - you'll always have a portable storage device with you, anytime, anywhere - coming in a choice of 2, 4, 8 or 16 gigabytes capacity, to fit your need, of course.

After that comes the mobile charging part, you have so many occasions of charging the device itself that you will probably charge it even without knowing or wanting to do so. First of all, you will charge it every time you plug into a USB port to transfer, check or manage files. Speaking of file transfer, the tech specs say up to 22MB/sec on reading and around 13MB/sec on writing. Sticking it into a USB port will charge the built-in Lithium Ion battery in about 50 minutes, according to the manufacturer.

Another way of charging this is via the embedded solar panel. Measuring about 5 x 2 cm, the solar panel will provide a mere 0.12W, therefore it will charge the built-in battery in about 15 hours. That is definitely not versatile, so I'll be waiting a little more with buying my first USB flash drive. Nevertheless, this should provide about 50-60 minutes of talk time and 25 - 35 hours of standby for mobile devices, on a single full charge. All that for the low price of $32.
