Wireless HD video streaming seems to be one of the hottest technologies right now, after HP and Asus have announced their 1080p video streaming solutions a new such product comes from a lesser known company, brite-View, their HDelight solution packing much the same feature set, but at a lower price point.

Functionality wise there's not a lot that separates these three solutions, the HDelight using a similar approach to that of HP's Wireless TV Connect or Asus' WiCast EW2000 comprising of two units, a receiver and a transmitter, the former connecting to your laptop via a HDMI port while power is provided trough a USB cable.

Similarly to Asus, brite-View touts a latency lower then 1ms while also claiming their wireless solution can stream 1080p uncompressed content up to 30 feet.

"brite-View is the market leader for WHDI solutions that enrich HD entertainment experiences," says Robert Lo, CEO of Xpike Innovation.

"With the HDelight, you can enjoy web or PC content on TV without having to spend $2,000 for the new connected TV. Because Boxee software is installed on the PC and smart phones work as remote controls, you don't need other boxes around the TV."

However, the best part about the HDelight BV-1222 is that the kit is available for $179.99 (or $159.99 if you pre-order on the company's website) making this cheaper then both HP's and Asus' offerings.
