The truth of the matter is that most true gadget lovers own more than just one such product, and for this reason, they're usually stuck with a very large number of
chargers, that take a lot of space around the house and they tend to create confusion (not being exactly sure what adapter works with what gadgets). However, it seems that the people over at iHome might have come up with a solution to this issue in the form of the iB969, a charging station designed to
work equally well with the iPad, iPod, iPhone, BlackBerry and the various eReaders available on the market.
As iHome informs us, the iB969's iPad docking area incorporates dual universal docks, namely one to charge and the second to sync to iTunes. Furthermore, the station also sports a dock specially designed in order to quick charge the iPhone/iPod.
As mentioned right from the start, the
device from iHome will charge (via USB port) the iPad, Blackberry, and most eBook readers, including Sony Reader, Amazon Kindle, Barnes & Noble Nook, etc. For this reason, it features an expandable, rubberized rest area that accommodates the Blackberry, and most eBook readers.
Unfortunately, iHome has not provided any pricing or availability details regarding this super docking/charging station, but we'll try to provide those details as soon as they become available as well.
We are just a few, but there are many of you, Softpedia users, out there. That's why we thought it would be a good idea to create an email address for you to help us a little in finding gadgets we missed.
