A brand division of Digital Products Internation, namely iLive, has recently showed two new home audio solutions for cost conscious consumers - the new line of iLive Bar Speakers.

These are all-in-one solutions for home entertainment systems that allow consumers to listen to their iPods, AM/FM radio or just enhance the sound of their favourite television shows and DVDs through a compact design speaker, all of that while their iPod is charging.

"We don't think that consumers should have to sacrifice style or versatility for price when it comes to their home audio systems," said Bill Fetter, CEO for DPI, Inc. "Our iLive Bar Speaker Systems offer the best of both worlds - a complete home entertainment package at a price point smart consumers can appreciate."

Both sound bars feature built in their chassis a 3.1 powered speaker system. The iLive iT319B Bar Speaker with Dock For iPod & DVD Player has a length of 80 centimeters and was designed to provide a compact home audio system. Whether you're using it as an upconverting DVD player, iPod dock, digital AM/FM radio or the perfect compliment to the newest flat screen television, the iT319B is a great home theater solution for the budget conscious.

The other model, the iLive iT209B Bar Speaker with Dock for iPod measures 94cm in length and has all the features of the previous models, with some additions. It also sports S-Video and composite video inputs and outputs.

Both the systems feature SRS TruSurround XT that provide a simulated 5.1 effect for even more sound stage. These two soundbars are already available online. Pricing says $199.99 for the iLive iT319B Bar Speaker with Dock for iPod & DVD Player and $149.99 for the iLive iT209B Bar Speaker with Dock for iPod.
