Now that more and more people out there adopt Apple's new iPhone 4 smartphone, there's also an increased demand for
protective cases to go with it, even if, as you certainly know by now, Apple's also supplying such cases free, as a solution to the iPhone's already too famous signal problems. However, that's not stopping 3'rd party protective case manufacturers from rolling out their own products of this type, iSkin being one of the latest examples.
So, the company has announced the release and availability of the solo and revo4 cases for the iPhone 4, which are made with 100% radio-transparent material that also helps to prevent antenna interference issues, are the only ones made with Microban antimicrobial agent.
The new revo4 for the iPhone 4 delivers full body protection against moisture, shock and impact in a sleek and bulk-free package. Integrated headphone jack and charging port covers are designed to seal and guard the ports from moisture and particles that may cause irreparable damage to the areas. All buttons are securely covered, while maintaining full functionality and sensitivity.
The revo4 also features an “
iSkin exclusive” design innovation: the durable hard-plastic VISOR that snaps over the iPhone’s screen, protecting it against impact and hazardous environments. The revo4 is made with premium hypoallergenic silicone that’s free of lead, phthalate and BPA’s, making it a safe option for everyday handling and use. Available in four color combinations: Nighthawk (black/brown), Falcon (brown/white), Lush (pink/black) and Hornet (yellow/black), the iSkin revo4 will sell for $39.99.
The iSkin solo boasts a distinct fit and feel that combines a glossy translucent back, matt finished sides and highlighted button accents. Precision molded from an actual iPhone 4, its headphone jack, camera/flash, speaker and syncing cable port areas are exact, while power and volume buttons are delicately protected. The solo is made from a durable, yet flexible “phthalate-free” polymer and is vailable in five shades: Carbon (black), Quartz (clear), Breeze (light blue), Vive (purple) and Cosmo (pink).
In order to actually stand a chance on the market and to support Apple’s
iPhone 4 case program, the new iSkin solo will be initially offered online for $14.99 – 50% off the suggested retail price until August 31st, 2010.
